Court Our Lady of Guadalupe, #2250 meets after the 8:30 Mass on the first Saturday of the months of September through May, at St. Simon and Jude Parish, in Phoenix, Arizona.
"Mary, Mother of Jesus, give us your heart, so beautiful, so pure, so immaculate, so full of love and humility, that we may be able to receive Jesus in the bread of life, love him as you love him, and serve him in the distressing disguise of the poor."
Court Our Lady of Guadalupe, #2250, has been fortunate to have a Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We take it to prison, hospitals, home-bound sick, and adoration chapels, as well as, enjoying it ourselves.
We sell crochet projects completed by prisoners at the Phoenix Women's Camp. All the money goes to the Andre House.
We support the Radio Family Rosary Program by sponsoring the taping of rosarys recorded by our Court. We work at the Radio Rosary Dinners and Rosary Sunday. We have hosted the breakfast on the West-side for Rosary Sunday workers.
We tour churches in the valley and tape the Mass for shut-ins. We enjoy good company at lunch after our meetings. Some members are active in the Legion of Mary, Ask Women's Center & Thrift Shop, Blue Army, PDCCW, and CUF. Others are active in Sodalities, PTA's or Guilds in their home parishes. We promote weekly hours of adoration. We have a monthly newsletter that has received First Place in the State CDA Newsletter Competition and Second Place in National CDA Competition.
To make and put a one-decade rosary in the hands of every Catholic youth in Arizona, starting with the Phoenix Diocese.
Some of the other Catholic Daughter Courts have already joined us. We are hoping other organizations in Arizona will take up the challenge and join us.”
We have setup up a revolving “Rosary Trust Fund" for this purpose. We hope that others will replenish this fund as needed.
